A custom Shopify design for Dayfuel START, an Australian men's morning formula entering the US market.
Dayfuel was preparing to launch START in the US, but its Shopify store was still close to the default theme. The homepage had a single product photo, a placeholder "Example product title" t-shirt marked sold out, and a few plain content blocks.
Nothing explained what made START different, how it compared to taking several supplements, or why a customer should trust it. The store couldn't sell a premium product or build a waitlist ahead of launch.
| Area | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Hero | One product photo with a discount badge | Bold yellow brand hero, "1 scoop to replace it all" headline, four key stats, waitlist button |
| Product | Placeholder t-shirt marked sold out | Full START product page with image gallery and flavor picker |
| Buying options | None | Subscribe-and-save and one-time purchase options, ready for launch |
| Ingredients | Six basic text boxes | Expandable panels for benefits, ingredients, supplement facts and directions, plus a nutrition label pop-up for each flavor |
| Proof | "As seen in" text line | Press logo strip, third-party testing badges, customer stats and testimonial |
| Comparison | Not covered | "Us vs. them" table against pill stacks and multiple powders, including cost per serving |
| Questions | Not covered | FAQ on results, subscriptions, shipping and returns |
| Basic subscribe box | Waitlist signup for early access |
We designed the store as a single, persuasive product journey in Dayfuel's bright yellow and black brand style.
Dayfuel now has a launch-ready store that explains a complex, 60+ ingredient product in a few seconds of scrolling. The site is live in waitlist mode, collecting early-access signups ahead of the US launch.
When sales open, the full product page, subscription options and comparison content are already in place, so the brand can launch without a rebuild.
