A full website redesign for a family-run leather, hide, and craft supply store in Sonora, Kentucky, serving retail and wholesale customers.
Kentucky Leather and Hides has supplied leathers, furs, hair-on hides, tools, and dyes to craftspeople since the family started in the trade in the 1980s. Their website didn't reflect that reputation. It ran on GoDaddy's WordPress platform with a Beaver Builder theme, and it had become hard to use and hard to trust.
The homepage had no clear hierarchy, so visitors couldn't tell what the store sold or where to start. Products weren't grouped into proper collections, the imagery was low quality and inconsistent, and the business's long family history was nowhere on the site. For a store whose customers value quality and craftsmanship, the website was underselling the business.
We rebuilt the site from the ground up with custom-designed pages in Elementor:
Since the new site launched on March 2, 2026, it has brought in $28,195 in gross sales ($22,703 net) from 296 orders and 800 items sold. August was the strongest month so far, with over $6,000 in gross sales.
The new site finally matches the quality of the products. Visitors now land on a homepage that shows what the store sells, who it's for, and where to go next. Products are easy to browse by category, and wholesale buyers have a dedicated page.
The new About page gives the brand its story. It traces how the business grew from markets and living-history events into a storefront in Sonora, and it honours the family members who built it.
Let's build a site that shows off your products and the people behind them.
